He then studied at the Art School of Avellino, where he also discovered ceramics alongside painting. Elio Picariello’s artistic journey began in childhood, nurtured by his love of vibrant tones. He works in his atelier in Avellino, a town near Naples in central Italy. The studio of Maestro Mario Barra provided him with the foundations of painting. Every painting is one-of-a-kind, bringing ornamental elegance wherever displayed. With time, his works became more expressive, powerful and full of intent.
