The history of an artistic family began in 1970. On Murano, the world-famous island of artistic glass, master glassmaker Luigi Voltolina founded his workshop. The invaluable tradition of "Corte Murrina" was passed down to his son, Nicola, and then to his grandchildren, Rebecca and Filippo, who inherited his passion and expertise. Drawing on the Venetian millefiori murrina technique, or "a thousand flowers," Corte Murrina has enjoyed great success both nationally and internationally. Their creations are incredibly diverse, ranging from decorative bowls and vases to lamps, picture frames, doorstops, and bag holders. The family workshop’s success is undoubtedly due to its continuous attention to evolving fashions and trends. Each artifact is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece. In any setting, a Corte Murrina creation is a highly decorative and elegant object, beautifully blurring the line between a simple decorative item and a piece of jewelry. It’s the perfect gift for yourself or a loved one, and it’s fortunately just a click away.
